Story of THE HOOK... While surf-fishing in the Outer Banks, O.G. Riddick's best friend hooked him straight through the left ear during a surf-cast gone wrong.  Instead of crying about it, Riddick left the hook in his ear for the weekend, thinking it was funny up until the Ocracoke Sheriff's department let him sleep off a bender in the county's iron-barred facility for the evening.

Some of Haden's fondest childhood memories were of learning art and music from his Dad. Growing up in a split family, Haden would spend every other weekend with his Dad, playing the guitar and drawing pictures together all through the night. Upon his Dad's untimely death due to lung cancer in 2003, Haden began redirecting his career life away from corporate sales leadership gigs and more towards an outlet for his bottled-up creative juices!  

Each of the O.G. Riddick Series contains at least one treasured art piece which was drawn by Haden's Dad, and/or an old picture of the O.G. himself. Proceeds from this collection are donated to The Lung Cancer Research Foundation.
